NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park is Back!!

 

Singapore’s favorite series of FREE outdoor concerts - NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park is back again! This time round, we are going to bring you a fresh new wave of performances and activities that will ensure you a time of fun and laughter! We promise to bring you and your family an unforgettable experience as we celebrate CULTURES!

The concert features a whole new performance that comprises of both local and overseas artistes. Look out for Variasi Performing Arts as this homegrown performing group brings you a refreshing blend of comtempory and traditional Malay dances! Based on the membership, Variasi proves its capability as a unit of creative force, producing quality performances internationally!

Be captivated by the dancers from Bellydance Discovery as they bring you the latest dance fushion - Belly Bolly! Watch the swiftness and sharpness of Bollywood dance moves with the sensuality & grace of bellydancing! Don’t miss the chance to learn bellydance moves during the interaction with the dancers!

Sway to the rhythm of Pandora, an all girls Chinese Orchestra band from China, as they play the new age pop songs using the traditional Chinese instruments! The ladies come from different provinces in China and will perform smoothing music selections while dancing on stage. Watch as they reinventing the classics into modern fast paced music!
 
Last but not least, Conversa De Samba is bringing the Brazil culture here! When people mention Samba, they think of Samba carnival, party, and most importantly, happiness! Move to the music as the Conversa De Samba spread this happiness to people who like the energy and fun of Samba dances! Lets Samba!

Come down early and join us in the range of engaging fringe activities we have before the concert start! Have your hands and feet decorated with exquisite Indian Henna body art, which is believed to bring luck to the wearer! Head down to our Rainbow Calligraphy booth and see your name written in rainbow calligraphy style by our Chinese calligraphy master! Have fun adding splashes of your favorite colours onto the giant piece of Batik cloth in our Community Batik corner! Ever wonder how to weave the traditional Malay Ketupat? Now you can learn to weave it from our professionals and bring it home as souvenir! Join us in our “Happiness is a warm meal” Art Workshop and have fun creating your favorite dished with the art materials provided!
