NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park
Everyone favorite series of outdoor concert - NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park is back again! This year, we will be celebrating our 15th anniversary! To thank all of our faithful audience, we have line up a whole new wave of performances and fringe activities that compromise both local and overseas talents! Come down and join us as we celebrate the wonder of SOUNDS as we lead you into a unique musical sensation at Singapore Botanic Gardens!
Move to the beats and watch The Marching Band kick start the concert! This homegrown marching band first started out when they were invited to perform together as a band and never did they know that they would be able to prove their capability as a unit of creative force, producing quality music and make it big locally! Look out for Thomson Jazz Band as they enchant you with their smoothing instrumental music! Thomsom Jazz Band has been performing a wide range of music from the swing era up to the present day and they have been performing in numerous TV and festival appearance internationally! So remember to come down and watch the band play their music live!
To all the dance lovers out there! Elecoldxhot is coming to town! This Malaysian dance group will be here to showcase their internationally acclaimed hip-hop grooves! Elecoldxhot started off small but as their hunger for knowledge and different passion in dance style increase, they took classes from world famous and had since made a name for themselves in the hip-hop dance scene by winning numerous international competitions!
Experience the swinging samba and throbbing batucada as the Samba Masala is here to impress! Dance to the beats as this youth percussion band play samba music, which infuses an Asian element! The youth and vibrance this percussion group brings to the local samba scene, and the energy they exude will definitely get the crowd moving! Las but not least, sway to the rhythm of Juz B, a popular acappella group in Singapore and around the region, as they present bring to you a unique style of acappella that had won many hearts worldwide! Known for their soulful performances and on-stage antics, this award-winning group captured the hearts of Taiwanese acappella supporters in Taipei as well as China when they were invited to perform for the Asean Summit in Nanning!
Come down early and join us in the range of engaging fringe activities we have before the concert start! Look out for giant puppets roving around and take pictures with them as souvenirs! Ever wonder how do you look like in cartoon? Stop wondering and head down to our booth and get your caricature drawn! For children, do not miss out the giant inflatable we have put up for you guys! Join us and draw beautiful graphics on the beautiful pebbles provided and bring them home! Also, we will be accepting SMS dedications on that day! Watch your message to your loved one get screen on the large LED screen!
